Twilight Saga Eclipse wins the top 5 MTV Movie Awards: It was a historical moment for Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner. The 3rd film in the "Twilight Saga" series, "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, conquered  top 5 golden popcorn trophies on Sunday, June 5 2011. The MTV Movie Award for Eclipse is the night's top award for Best Film.

Robert Pattinson & Kristen Stewart  achieved the best male and best female performance individually with honored together for best Kiss. They accepted the awards and Robert Pattinson told that he actually doesn't like kissing his co-star who off-screen girlfriend and Taylor Lautner then proceeded to head into the audiences.

Robert Pattinson shares surprise smooch with Taylor

The Twilight actor found himself in the middle of an awkward clinch with Robert during the MTV Awards at the weekend.

After the British star won the best on screen kiss with his real-life girlfriend Kristen Stewart, Rob ran off stage to plant a smooch on his embarrassed friend – who plays his love rival Jacob Black.

Nevertheless, the surprised audience – who had been expecting the vampire saga's Edward Cullen to kiss Kristen - clapped and cheered.

"I feel bad because I don't want to kiss you," he had told Kristen after they were called on stage to collect the award - for the third year running.

He continued: "There's somebody in the audience who will appreciate it a little more."

His girlfriend told him: "Go get him honey," before Robert went running stage right.

The gong was one of five the crew picked up, including Best Male Performance – won by Rob – and – Best Female Performance – picked up by Kristen and Best Movie prize.

And there was more excitement when the brand new Breaking Dawn trailer was given it's first ever airing.

Other winners at the LA ceremony included Justin Bieber and Inception's Ellen Page

Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner The biggest moment of the night.Everyone was anticipating a liplock from Best Kiss winners Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, since they fooled us last year. But instead, we got an even bigger surprise.And though the Harry Potter peeps were effectively shut down by Team Twilight, the night had some other fine moments, including a surprise appearance by Justin Bieber, Jim Carrey's crazy suit that flashed images of dogs humping among other things and Gary Busey in a big plastic bubble.

And in the show's other watercooler moment, Reese Witherspoon, winner of the Generation Award, revealed that she knows how to fire off some saucy jokes when she needs to. When Robert Pattinson spoke of how Witherspoon played his mother in his first movie and then now his lover in Water for Elephants, the actress came back with, "So Rob, the punchline of your joke is really that you're the best mother in Hollywood." 

"I get that it's cool to be bad. But it's also possible to make it in Hollywood without a reality show. It used to be that if you make a sex tape, you hide it under your bed. If you take naked pictures of yourself on a cell phone, hide your face."

It's a big night for Twihards: The Breaking Dawn trailer is now online! The clip was supposed to air later in the evening at the MTV Video Awards, but it leaked hours before the big show.

And, it's official. The MTV Twitter feed posted about the leak: "Hey Twihards, totally not blaming @Twilight's awesome fans, we heart you guys. Mistakes happen...all good! Still have surprises in store :)" read the post.
So what's on the clip? Lots of juicy stuff! It shows reactions from Jacob and Bella's dad after her and Edward's wedding invitations go out, and there's even some footage of their big day, honeymoon, and -- gasp! -- Bella's pregnant belly!

The movie's stars will be on hand during the awards show tonight for more "surprises."

Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson in Breaking Dawn Wedding Teaser

Get dressed up in your finest clothes because MTV wants to invite you to a wedding, or at least they want to give you a quick little tease for the very first official teaser trailer for The Twilight Saga, Breaking Dawn Part 1 that will be making its debut during the MTV Video Music Awards.

We see the anxious crowd, and then there’s Edward beaming with joy at the altar, but where in the world is Bella? I noticed we never get to see the bride’s face so I wonder if its possible that she might be the one walking down the aisle. Seriously, I think it’s a little cute with the way they conceal the identity of the bride when the whole world knows who it is. We see the ring, the hair, and we’ve watched the story unfold since way back when some people still thought wolf-boy had a chance. Speaking of Jacob, the MTV awards show will also reveal if a vampire or a werewolf is a better kisser, and director Catherine Hardwicke has already mentioned her idea of a perfect result.

The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1 bares its fangs in theaters on November 18, but you can catch the trailer on Sunday night at some point during the MTV Video Music Awards, and fill in the time between now and then by checking out what Elizabeth Reaser (Esme Cullen) had to say about the end of the saga.
